of Georgian wine-makers. The wine is made from the Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane
grape varieties cultivated in Telavi and Kvareli. For three years it matures
in oak barrels in the cellars of the Tsinandali winery. When ready for
use, the wine has pale-straw colour, a fine fruity bouquet, a mild and
delicate taste. Its alcohol content is 10.5 - 12% and titrated acidity
6.0 - 7.5%. It has been manufactured since 1886. The wine is very popular.
At international competitions it was awarded ten gold and nine silver medals. |
A wine of pale-straw colour with
an original delicate fruity bouquet and aroma, a harmonious taste and subtle
piquant bitter flavour. It is made from the Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grape
varieties cultivated in the Gurdzhaani, Signakhi and Sagaredzho districts
in Kakheti. It matures for three years in oak barrels in the cellars of
the Gurdzhaani winery. It has been manufactured s ince 1887. When ready
for use, the wine contains 10.5 - 12.5% alcohol and has 5.5 - 7.0'/o titrated
acidity. A specific taste of the Gurdzhaani wine is hard to forget. At
international exhibitions the wine was awarded one gold, nine silver and
one bronze medals. |

and has 5.5 - 5.7% titrated acidity. It has been manufactured since 1938.
At international competitions the wine received three silver medals. |

of Kardanakhi according to the unique Kakhetian technology, when the grape
pulp undergoes fermentation in clay jars buried in the ground. The wine
of dark amber colour has a pleasant fruit bouquet and aroma, a harmonious
velvety taste. High extractivity and pleasant astringency impart it an
original taste. Rkatsiteli matures in oak barrels for one year. When ready
for use, the wine contains 11.5 - 13% alcohol and has 4 - 6% titrated acidity.

raisin-flavoured aroma and a full, harmonious and velvety t aste. The strength
of this wine organically combines with rich savoury and curative properties.
It is manufactured in earthware jars, which are buried in the ground. The
wine is allowed to mature in oak barrels for one year. When ready for use,
the wine contains 11.5 - 13% alcohol and has 4.0 - 6.0% titrated acidity.
It has been manufactured since 1948. At international exhibitions it was
awarded two gold and five silver medals. |

acidity. It has been manufactured since 1897. At international and All-Union
exhibitions the Teliani wine was awarded four gold and six silver medals. |

has been manufactured since 1890. At international exhibitions Napareuli

combines with admirable gustatory harmony. The matured wine contains 10.
5 - 12.5% alcohol and has 6.0 - 7.0% titrated acidity. It has been manufactured
since 1888. At international exhibitions Mukuzani was awarded eight gold,
